Beachside dining and rum tasting in the BVI
Swap the boat seat for a table by the water at Cooper Island Beach Club. On the island’s northwest shore, the restaurant, Rum Bar and coffee shop make this a tempting stop during a BVI charter.
Season update: the Beach Club’s website lists reopening on 1 November 2026, following its seasonal closure. Confirm opening and reservations before planning a stop.
What can you do?
Enjoy lunch, try an island-brewed beer, browse the boutique or stop for coffee and ice cream. Water activities and diving can be arranged through the island’s providers; check what is running during your visit.
Give the stop enough time for a meal and the transfer ashore. A charter visit does not automatically include restaurant spending, beach-club services or dive activities.
Plan your arrival
Have your captain confirm the mooring and dinghy arrangements. Reserve restaurant seating where required and agree when to return to the boat. Cooper Island is in the BVI, so USVI departures need an appropriate international itinerary.

- Swimwear, towel, hat and sun protection.
- A waterproof pouch and payment for your meal or shopping.
- Passports and required documents if crossing from the USVI.
