Grateful Ted: a private yacht day from St. John
Start with fruit and pastries, ease into a swim stop, then stretch out on the bow while the next island comes into view. Grateful Ted is a 60-foot Sunseeker for up to twelve guests, with room to enjoy the day together or slip into the air-conditioned cabin for a break.
Swimming, snorkeling and island stops
Plan your route with Ocean Runner around snorkeling, beaches or a waterfront lunch. USVI and BVI bookings are separate options, and sea conditions influence the final plan.
The yacht has a lowering swim platform, snorkel gear and floats. After a dip, rinse off in the freshwater shower. Ask about boarding requirements before booking if anyone needs assistance; a swim platform does not make every transfer accessible.
What is included?
Captain, crew, refreshments and fuel for the standard route are included. Expect a continental breakfast, an open bar and a meat-and-cheese platter. Towels are provided. What to bring
- Swimwear, a hat, sunglasses and a sun shirt.
- Non-spray mineral sunscreen and a dry bag for going ashore.
- Valid passports and required travel documents for a BVI booking.
The usual meeting point is the National Park Dock in Cruz Bay. Confirm any alternative pickup before the day.
