Coral World Ocean Park is beside Coki Beach on St. Thomas. Its aquariums, marine exhibits, nature trail and Undersea Observatory offer a way to explore Caribbean marine life without spending the whole visit in the water.

Tickets: what does admission cost?

• Explorer Day Pass: $29 per adult aged 13+, or $17 per child aged 3–12. Children under 3 enter free.
• Family Fun Day Pass: the operator lists $100 for two adults and up to four children aged 3–21. Compare this with individual tickets for your group.
• Resident discounts: separate Virgin Islands resident rates are available. Use the visitor fare unless you meet the discount requirements.

Things to do at Coral World Ocean Park

Undersea Observatory, exhibits and nature trail

General admission covers marine exhibits, the Undersea Observatory, aviary, nature trail and scheduled animal talks. The observatory looks out onto the surrounding reef. Check the presentation schedule when you arrive.

Optional animal encounters and underwater experiences

Dolphin and sea lion encounters, swims, Shark Encounter, Sea Trek and SNUBA are separate bookable experiences. A paid experience already includes general admission, so check your selection before buying an additional admission ticket. Each activity has its own participation requirements.

Opening hours and how long to allow

Published hours are 9am–4pm, with the ticket booth closing at 3pm. Operating days and closure dates vary by season; check the park’s current calendar for your visit.

The park recommends about 2–3 hours for general admission or 3–5 hours with a booked experience. Allow extra time for travel and Coki Beach if you plan to combine them.

Getting there and preparing for your visit

Address: 6450 Coki Point Road, St. Thomas, VI 00802. Arrange your own transport unless your booking explicitly includes it. Cruise passengers should allow enough time to return to their ship.

Bring sun protection and your booking confirmation. For a water activity, bring swimwear, a towel and suitable sandals or water shoes. Ask Guest Services about access to particular exhibits if anyone in your party has mobility needs.
